Alleged N15m bribe: I authorised the leaking of Bobrisky’s audio – Seun Kuti

Singer and activist, Seun Kuti has claimed that he was the one who gave social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, the go-ahead to expose controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky.

VDM had on Tuesday exposed Bobrisky who allegedly claimed he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15m to drop the money laundering charge against him.

The crossdresser, who was earlier jailed for six months also boasted that he did not spend a day in prison because his godfather bribed some unnamed prison wardens.

Bobrisky on Wednesday, disassociated himself from the viral recording, claiming it was fake.

Reacting to the saga, Seun Kuti revealed that he was the one who urged VeryDarkMan to expose Bobrisky after he informed him about the existence of the recording.

Speaking during an Instagram live session, Kuti said, “You people are late to the party, I was the first person VeryDarkMan informed about the story. I gave him the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky.”
