I’m unhappy I couldn’t surprise Mercy Johnson on her wedding anniversary – Empress Njamah
Actress Empress Njamah has revealed that she was unhappy that she couldn’t surprise her colleague, Mercy Johnson, and her husband on their wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Empress who owns a surprise company explained how she had been trying to contact the couple for days but received no response.
Mercy Johnson and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary on August 27, followed shortly by Mercy’s 40th birthday just two days later.
She reminisced about being by Mercy’s side on her wedding day and reflected on how special their bond remains.
Empress revealed that she had been attempting to surprise the couple for four days, but all her efforts were in vain.
“Been trying to reach out to @mercyjohnsonokojie and her husband @princeodiokojie since like forever but to no avail. It wasn’t easy trying to surprise them for four days.”
Despite her failed attempts, Empress spoke fondly of Mercy, describing her as an amazing person and celebrating the couple’s marital milestone.
“Happy birthday to an amazing person and happy anniversary. Your anniversary means so much to me.
“I remember how emotional you were on your wedding day, always checking on your husband and ensuring everything was perfect. It was such a sweet and memorable day,” she shared.
