Debbie Shokoya shares pregnancy challenges
Nollywood actress, Debbie Shokoya has shared the challenges she faced when she was pregnant with her recently-delivered child.
Shokoya took to her Instagram page to share that when she had her first miscarriage, she was diagnosed with high prolactin levels, which suggested she might not conceive that month.
She, however, was not deterred by the news as she revealed that her faith remained firm.
She wrote, “I thought I lost but God was planning the best for me.
“Result said ‘High Prolactin’ and I shouldn’t bother trying that month until it was normal, but God was smiling and said ‘It’s this month!’”
Shokoya’s message was filled with gratitude as she spoke about how the devil attempted to use her past trauma against her.
Despite these challenges, she believes that God’s support transformed her situation. “The devil tried using my trauma against me on this journey, but God was standing for me,” she shared. “God blessed me beyond how I can describe His love for me!”
Shokoya urged her followers not to focus on the setbacks they experience but to trust in God’s plan for their lives.
“When men say there is a casting down, God said, ‘There’s a lifting up!’
“God is working, and if you believe, He is on your matter and so passionate about you! It won’t happen in your own way; it will happen in God’s way, and trust me… it makes sense.”
