Anger as Chike rewards troll with N1m cash gift
Fans of Nigerian music star Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka popularly known as Chike have not hidden their displeasure after the singer rewarded an X troll with N1 million.
The singer had posted a snippet of his yet-to-be-released song when the critic Daniel Omowonuola Lawal (@Hateofx) wrote, “Mohbad made you” — insinuating Chike gained fame because he collaborated with Mohbad.
He claimed that Chike’s success was solely due to his song “Egwu” featuring Mohbad, saying “Mohbad made you.”
Despite the negativity, Chike responded with kindness and wit, engaging in a back-and-forth exchange with the troll.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Chike asked for the troll’s account number and sent him N1 million, tagging him “Hunger Boy.”
Chike’s gesture was accompanied by a message, “Now I doubt your mother even made you right. If she didn’t teach you manners she should have taught you research.
“I will send you like 1M now, make hunger comot your eye make you see road but your account fit collapse. Let the good guy rest in peace. I know say na hunger. Hunger boy, Oya and eat”.
