Actor Alesh Sanni laments over high cost of clearing cars in Nigeria
Popular Nigerian actor, Alesh Sanni, has lamented over the high cost of customs duty on cars in the country.
Sanni, who joined other prominent voices in lamenting over economic the situation in Nigeria, questioned why Nigerians were paying for a change instead of taking action.
In an Instagram post, he decried how a Nigerian would purchase a car worth $12000 in the United States and use N10 million to clear it in Nigeria.
The actor stated that, at this point, the government should use a knife to kill the citizens.
He wrote, “For real. E no just make sense anymore. Person go buy car of $12000 in United States, use 10m to clear in Nigeria.
Please why? This is crãzy; what are we paying for exactly? Cos koyemi oo.
“At this point, just use knife kee us. Cos the fvckkk”. (sic)
