Nollywood actor, Francis Duru mourns as he loses teenage son
Tragedy struck in the house of veteran Nigerian actor, Francis Duru, as his 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi, died.
The actor took to his Instagram page to announce the shocking news on Thursday morning.
Although he didn’t disclose the circumstances that led to his son’s death, the thespian said Ifeanyi fought like a lion.
He wrote, “My champ!! My lion…you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful…Ifeanyi my champ….I will miss you, son….I will forever love you….Rest in peace son…rest….I give you thanks, Lord!” (sic)
Fans and colleagues have started commiserating with the bereaved family.
