Nigerian actress, Sarah Martins, has lamented over the rate at which electricity bills consume her earnings.
The Nollywood screen diva cried out on her social media platforms that she had spent N300,000 on electricity bills in just under a month in Lagos.
She questioned the rate at which Nigerians are being extorted by electricity providers, alleging that the N300,000 was solely to light her house.
In a video she posted, Sarah can be seen visibly upset, expressing her exhaustion with the financial burden this has placed on her.
Sarah captioned the emotional clip, “POV: When you spend 300K on electricity in less than a month in Lagos state.”
