Why I won’t publicly announce my wedding – Erica Nlewedim
A former Big Brother Naija housemate, Erica Nlewedim, has given the reason why she will not publicly announce her wedding plans beforehand.
According to the actress, who tagged Nigerians as unkind people, who don’t deserve to share good news, she will hide details about her special day until it is conducted.
Her opinion, which was made on her X.com account may not be unconnected to the negative reactions that trailed the wedding of her colleague, Sharon Ooja and her husband, Ugo Nwoke.
Recall that a few hours after the couple tied the knot, rumours emerged that Nwoke is a serial divorcee who has allegedly married and divorced at least four women in the last five years.
Erica implied that instead of having a public wedding, she might simply announce that she’s already married after the fact.
She wrote, “At this rate, I will just let you know I’m married, cos Nigerians are not people to share your good news with”.
