Producer Dr. Roy calls out Mercy Chinwo for owing royalties for her hit tracks
Music producer known as Dr Roy has accused popular gospel musician, Mercy Chinwo of not paying him royalties from her hit songs.
The producer, who was in tears while narrating his ordeal with the gospel singer, claimed Chinwo didn’t assist him when his father was down with a stroke even though he reached out to her.
Dr Roy made the allegations while being featured in the latest of the Honest Bunch podcast, claiming that he spent long hours producing his hit tracks.
“We sleep by 5 a.m., wake up by 7 a.m., and start working until 5 a.m.,” Dr. Roy said before he broke down in tears.
“My father is not feeling too well; if you have anything you can assist me with, just assist me so I can take care of my father.”
According to him, Mercy Chinwo responded, “Don’t worry, he will be fine.”
