Mohbad’s mother denies abandoning him for 10 years
Abosede, the mother of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has denied allegations of absconding for 10 years.
A few days after the death of the singer, the bereaved mother caught the attention of the Nigerians after narrating the relationship between herself and her late son.
Recall that the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, alongside some top government officials, visited Abosede to commiserate with her.
However, news broke out that she was a deadbeat mother to the singer.
Some netizens, since then, have blasted her and insisted that she was a bad mother to Mohbad, adding that all the attention she got was supposed to be directed to the father of the late singer, Joseph Aloba, who reportedly trained him after Abosede abandoned the young family.
However, she has come out for the first time to address the allegation saying, “I did not abandon my family, it is a lie.”
Also, Abosede alleged that the singer’s father, Joseph, told her that he asked one of the suspects involved in the late singer’s death, Primeboy, to run away.
