Popular Nollywood diva, Yvonne Jegede, has narrated how she narrowly escaped from a robbery attack while driving on the 3rd Mainland Bridge around 9:00pm on Thursday.
The actress who disclosed this via her Twitter account said an unidentified man wanted to take advantage of her being alone in the car.
Narrating her ordeal, the 38-year-old actress wrote: “Last Thursday at about 9 pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car and then he took off.
“Under the bridge at Oworonsoki needs to be sanitised. The guy jumped out from under the bridge. They target people driving alone. Be safe guys.”
Jegede also advised people to avoid driving alone at night and that if they must drive, they should stay off the fast lane.
“If you are driving alone in traffic, don’t drive on the fast lane (the last lane by your left), let your car be in between cars.
“Ladies especially, if you can, please stay wherever you are till you see daylight. THERE IS HUNGER IN TOWN,” she added.
