Uche Maduagwu while criticising Genevieve Nnaji said Rita Dominic would have turned up for her if roles were reversed.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has called out popular actress Genevieve Nnaji for not attending the traditional wedding ceremony of her colleague.

Rita Dominic and hubby, Fidelis Anosike, shut down Mbaise nation in Imo State with their star-studded wedding on Tuesday, April 19 and her colleague, Genevieve Nnaji, was conspicuously missing.

Both Genevieve and Rita are from Mbaise, the highly cosmopolitan society known for the solidarity of indigenes.

Maduagwu asserted Genevieve’s decision not to show up was meant to cause drama and asserted that Rita Dominic would have turned up for her if roles were reversed.

He wondered why Genevieve did not send a congratulatory message to her Nollywood colleague on social media if she was too busy to make an appearance in person at the event.

He also advised the actress to start attending other people’s marriages if she wants to walk down the aisle someday.

He wrote, “Rita Dominic do traditional marriage Gen Gen Gen no show up. This Nollywood na drama….but she would have attended if it’s hers, God dey Imo women, when una go support each other?”

He added, “whatever you celebrate you go attract, if you wan smell marriage, attend the marriage ceremonies of others, or at least congratulate dem on social media…even if you no do am as colleagues do am sisters from the same State, even if you dey busy that you can not be there physically, wetin e go cost you to post a congratulatory message on social media?”

Maduagwu’s criticism of Genevieve elicited mixed reactions on social media, as some netizens agreed she ought to have congratulated Rita Dominic if she was too busy to attend in person.
