Wizkid’s Manager, Jada Pollock, has described her relationship with the singer as she said the love they share is magical. She disclosed this on Friday while responding to questions from fans on Twitter.
Pollock wrote, “Ask me anything.”, then a fan asked, “How did u meet Big Wiz?” While responding to the fan, she recalled how they met during Chris Brown’s tour, which branched to Africa.
“I was managing Chris Brown at the time and we were on tour. We had an African leg to the tour and Lagos was one of the territories we had a show. Wiz came out on Chris’ show and the rest is history…”
She also expressed disappointment at being referred to as “Wizkid’s third baby mam”a.
She tweeted, “I think about this… it’s so degrading and discriminating when I’m referred to as Wizkid’s third baby mother before addressing me professionally by my name. The credit of my journey/experience is so underrated. The sad thing is, it’s our own blogs that don’t heighten and uplift each other.
When asked if she loved the singer, she said, “With all my heart! I have never loved anyone like this in my lifetime. Our love is magical.”
Another fan asked, “Do the Tems and Wiz rumours get annoying?” Pollock replied, saying,” Tem’s is 1 of da BEST female artist 2 come out of the continent! Her Artistry is unmatched. Yet our own will be the first 2 try & change da Narrative & perception of her character. Instead of letting her shine like da she is & celebrating da achievement of what Essence has done.” (sic)
Wizkid and Pollock first met in 2012, but their relationship was made public in 2017 after they welcomed their son, Zion, who is Wizkid’s third child.
Pollock is a US-born music executive and an entrepreneur.
In other news, Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Shan George, has responded to critics based on a comment she made about divorce.
The actress took to her Instagram story on Monday to give her opinion on divorce and remarriage. She wrote, “One minute they are saying ‘Abeg if a marriage is not working, leave. Same people will still curse on d next person a man/woman who decides to date/marry after leaving the marriage that is not working. Shay if one leaves a shitty marriage, make e no marry again or what?”(sic)
However, her opinion didn’t sit down well with some of her fans as some of them accused her of encouraging divorce and others wondered why she is supporting fellow actress, Mercy Aigbe, for her recent revelation.
George took to her Instagram story again to respond to these critics. She said, “motherfuckers so quick to say I’m disappointed in u yen yen yen!!! Wen you were not disappointed, how much did you send me?”
