Fuji singer, Akorede Babatunde Okunola popularly known as Saheed Osupa has bagged his first degree from the University of Ibadan.

King Saheed Osupa as he is also known, shared that he bagged a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the prestigious University.

Osupa who is 52-year-old took to Instagram on Friday, January 28, to share photos from his sign-out celebration.

Fans, colleagues in the Yoruba film industry as well as in the music industry have taken to social media to felicitate with the ace Fuji singer.

Sharing his signout photos on social media, the film actor said “You don’t have to see the whole staircase; just take the first step for the best view comes after the hardest climb!

He flooded his Instagram page with photos from his signing out the ceremony with colleagues in his department and congratulations poured in from his fans and followers

Osupa has released over 35 albums including Master Blaster and Stainless Fuji.

Famed for his dense wordplay and infusion of proverbs in his music, Saheed Osupa has established himself as one of the most successful fuji musicians to cross over into the Yoruba movie industry, having featured in at least 10 movies.

In 2013, he won Yoruba Academy Awards for the Best Musician in an Acting Role and the City People Entertainment Awards for the Best Fuji Musician of the Year.

In 2019, Saheed Osupa picked up the Yoruba Image International Awards for the Best Fuji Musician of the Year.
