2012 MBGN Anna Ebiere Banner has taken to social media to open up on her terrible struggles.
According to the Nigerian pageant winner and actress, she almost committed suicide at some point in life because she lost confidence and was totally depressed.
Anna added that she was ashamed of her body and had to pretend everything was alright for 6 years.
She wrote;
We don’t have it all figured out! I was suicidal at some point in my life! I never knew what depression was until I experienced it!
It wasn’t pretty at all! I was ashamed of my body. I was ashamed of some decisions I made. I lost my self-confidence. I literally lost myself. I screamed silently for help but no one but God could hear me.
Anna Ebiere Banner (born 18 February 1995) is a Nigerian pageant winner and actress. She was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria by 2012 MBGN Queen Isabella Ayuk in 2013 and represented Nigeria at the 2013 Miss World pageant. She was appointed Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Governor Henry Dickson upon her reign as Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 2012. In 2014, she made her acting debut in Super Story.
