Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Matthew Ashimolowo, has disclosed to the public that he was amongst the people in London who had signed a petition against the federal government due to the EndSARS protests.
The clergyman made the disclosure whiles addressing his congregation during a recent service held in Maryland, Lagos.
Ashimolowo went ahead to dare the federal government to come after him in case they are not in agreement with his decision to sign the said petition. He also urged the youth to arise and not expect changes to be made, adding that they should only chase after purpose and wealth will follow them.
In his own words:
“IF THEY WANT TO GET ME, LET THEM GET ME, I AM ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT SIGNED THE PETITION IN LONDON ON #ENDSARS PROTEST AND THE PARLIAMENT WILL START HEARING THIS WEEK AND IF FOUND GUILTY, NIGERIA MIGHT BE SANCTIONED, BUT THE YOUTH MUST ARISE AND NOT EXPECT THINGS TO BE DONE. DO NOT CHASE AFTER MONEY, CHASE YOUR PURPOSE, EVERYTHING WILL FOLLOW SUIT,
