Pete Edochie is a legend in Nollywood and he is widely considered to be one of the most talented in Africa. When he played the lead role of Okonkwo in the NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s best selling novel, Things Fall Apart, many of today’s actor’s were not even born.
It comes as no surprise that his son, Yul Edochie, decided to celebrate him today on his Instagram page.
Yul described his father as “The Last Don” while praying that God gives him longer life and fulfilment. He wrote:
“The Last Don! I celebrate you everyday Daddy. Chief Pete Edochie. @peteedochie. You laid the foundation for the man I have become today. I learnt from the Best, you. Without you there would be no me. May God give you more life, more happiness and more fulfilment.
I love you Dad!”
