Speaking on a show recently, Davido explained in details how his father sent 50 policemen to him at his first show.

He said that his father was extremely angry with him for leaving school to do music. He added that during his first show, his father sent police to arrest his girlfriend, his manager and his promoter.

The talented singer held on to his dreams and escaped the wrath, disappointment, shame that could have sprung up from his father.

”My dad found out about my first show I was upstairs in a green room about to come down and I looked down and saw 50 policemen.

”They arrested my ex, my manager, the promoter of the show, I remember I went through the back fence.

”My dad then called and was like if I don’t come out all my friends are going to jail so I had to go to the station.”
