Nigerian Nollywood actress Uche Elendu in a recent interview has disclosed the rough side her marriage has brought about in her acting career.
The actress who got married at the peak of her career saw a halt in her career as she was no longer giving in much to acting as she wanted to build her home first.
According to the Bible school graduate of salvation Ministries, she started her acting during her university days which was a challenge to her as she was always leaving the school to locations.
She further revealed that due to the presence of her father’s friend Larry Koldsweat she did not go through stress in getting movie roles as her first role was given to her by him.
She said; “I think I am one of the lucky ones because I didn’t really go through stress to get roles. I got my first role through my friend’s father, Larry Koldsweat, and things have just proceeded smoothly for me.
The only challenge I had was that I was in the university when I started my career; so, I often had to leave school to be on movie sets. Also, I got married when I got to the peak of my career and that slowed me down because I had to face my family and build a home.” Uche Elendu revealed.
