Nigerian singer, Korede Bello, who enrolled in Nigerian Institute of Journalism for a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication, has graduated with a distinction.

Korede Bello who bagged a distinction in Higher Diploma alongside 6 other students, was also awarded the best student in “Editorial Writing” by the institute.

The Institute presented one thousand three hundred and forty-one (1,341) “graduands of five academic sessions from 2013-2017 sets” during their 5th convocation on Friday, April 20. The award of National Diploma (ND) certificate was presented to 501 students, Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate was presented to 407 students, Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) certificate was presented to 352 students, Proficiency Certificate Journalism was presented to

Korede Bello who is part of the 2017 graduating members of the Institute, in an interview few months ago talked about Journalism and what he hopes to achieve.

“I am a student of journalism but am slave to music. I nursed a dream to become a radio presenter in the past but music is my passion for now.

I plan to star in some Nollywood films as I have been presented some scripts, which I am presently considering. But I have just dropped my debut album and I want people to see me as musician enough before I veer into movies.”
