The axe of the leadership of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitoners (ANTP), may soon fall on controversial Yoruba actress, Modupe Johnson a.k.a. Fali Werepe, if reports reaching nfc are anything to go by.
It was learnt that the Ikorodu, Lagos-based actress may be banned by the Prince Jide Kosoko-led ANTP, if some of the complaints made against her in recent times were considered.
The complaints, nfc gathered, border on the actress’ lifestyle and inability to make peace with some of her colleagues, causing some unsolved squabbles between them and the association as a whole.
Besides, Fali Werepe is also accused of spreading vile rumours against some of her colleagues.
Another source added that she may be banned because she often flouts the association’s rules and also quarells a lot.
Few months ago, she was banned by the association with another actress, Bukola Babalola a.k.a. Bukky Black, for alleged misconduct. But this time around, she may be expelled from the association if found guilty of all allegations levelled against her.
Prince Jide Kosoko, President of ANTP, while reacting to the allegations made against Werepe and other artistes of her type, said the association is set to flush out some unscrupulous elements parading themselves as members.
“In no time, they shall be made to face the music,” he added.
