Omowunmi Dada hails from Ogun State, Nigeria. She is an Actor/Presenter and Voice over Artist. She is a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Omowunmi claimed she has always loved acting from her primary school days and she had this burning desires that was unquenchable, all she wanted to do was act, dance, and sing, which made her decide to study it more in the University.

The actress has revealed in an interview that although she is successful in the business she does not deem it worthy to settle down for life with another actor.

With the rate of failed marriages among Nigerian celebrities, marrying another celebrity is scary in the sense that you will always believe it will be heading to divorce.

In the interview she was asked by the interviewer why she once said she would never get married to another colleague in the industry. She said

“It’s such a personal decision not to worry someone in my industry. I’ll like to experience people of other walks of life. I see people that I work with as my friends, my family and brothers. I have never seen any of them that way. I’ve never been romantically involved with any actor. So I haven’t seen any reason to get married to any one of them” Omowunmi said.

She has been acting right from her school days as a Creative/Theatre Arts student, she is required to do stage plays, while still in school she was going out to also act but featured in her very first movie called OYA in 2008 but she had to slow down because of the tight schedule in school.
