A dark skin Nigerian model known as Debbie has revealed how Nigerian singer Tekno refused her in featuring in his music video. The melanin poppin beauty disclosed that Tekno rejected the opportunity of letting her feature in the video because of her skin color.

Debbie disclosed that she was supposed to be the main vixen for the music video but when Tekno arrived on set, he asked that she should not be used and elected a light skinned model over her.

To make things worse and make her feel useless, Tekno offered her another option to be in the music video but she rejected it.

She also advised that if a Tekno rejects you, you should wait up for a Wizkid to come your way.

She wrote:

“I had the worst experience today as a dark skin model, I woke up at 4am, got to Oregun on the mainland at 8am, and waited for the director @paul_gambit whom i respect a lot. Anyways to cut the story short, after all my stress, Tekno arrived on set, it was time to shoot with him. Tekno refused to use me as the main model for his #yourlovethevideo shoot cause i’m dark skin. Later he settled for me doing the full shots so a light skin model can do the closeup shots with him. But i walked out on him and his set.

Dark skin women are beautiful and precious, we don’t settle for less and we don’t get to be an option, we are the option. Black girls please love your skin and never feel bad about rejection, If a Tekno rejects you, Look up to a Wizkid, Wizkid inspires me everyday to love my skin with his videos and how much he appreciates black women.”

Tekno has received criticism of late as he failed to deliver well in a show in Abuja. Tekno let the fans down as they were expecting something thrilling after Flavour and Styl Plus had raised the atmosphere already, but he did so bad that fans were forced to let out their disappointment.
