Nollywood actor and professor Johnbull star Pope Obumneme Odonwodo popularly called pope junior has voiced his thought towards the movie industry.
Many people view Nollywood as a bad and corrupt industry in Nigeria, though it is the highest generator of revenue to the Government.
Speaking on an interview, pope junior was asked how he met his wife; he disclosed that they met on Facebook talked together before they became friends and eventually had to walk down the aisle.
Speaking further he said, the kind of live that is found in Nollywood many do not want to marry but to enjoy them self but he opted to settle down.
He said,
“Honestly, with the kind of life in Nollywood, you wouldn’t want to marry, thinking you still have time for worldly enjoyment. I always tell people that the devil is the king of Nollywood, because of the atrocities being committed in the industry. It is in Nollywood you see high level of gays and lesbians. There is no kind of evil you wouldn’t see in the industry.”
Pope junior has also won awards as most promising Nollywood actor of the year by entertainment factory in 2010. He got married on July 26 2014 to Jennifer Awele Okpuno and they are blessed with 2 sons.
