The director’s marriage had crash eight years ago, since then he is the mother and the father of the home to his three children.
On his new movie that is in post-production stage ‘The Good Husband’, Dickson is trying to tell a true life story of his experience in his marriage.
The producer has for the first time spoken about his marriage break down publicly; he disclosed that his wife had just walked out of their marriage on his birthday on which he was at Abuja.
Describing the movie the ‘good husband’, Iroegbu said that the movie is important to him as it is trying to tell the story of marriage from a man’s perspective.
He said that always marriage is always said in the woman’s angle, when a woman gets molested in marriage every one hears about it but when a man is molested in marriage no one says anything.
And a lot of men are dying in silence and that’s how important this film is.” That’s why it is titled ‘The Good Husband’, he said.
In 2005, at the maiden edition of the African Movie Academy Awards, Iroegbu won three awards for the movie The Mayors, including the awards for Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Director.
