Hollywood Kerry Marisa Washington (born January 31, 1977) is an American actress and producer.
The actress took to social media to wish a friend a happy birthday, but after since she wrote the goodwill message in Igbo to wish Nigerian born American actress Uzor Aduba, a happy birthday, everywhere is lively and everyone is really impressed about her effort.
She wrote;
“@Uzoaduba, Ncheta Ubochi omumu gi. Ekele diri Chineke.” Which is translated as (Happy Birthday Glory be to God.)
She is married to a Nigerian Igbo NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha on june 24 2013 and they have two children together.
Since 2012, Washington has gained wide public recognition for starring in the ABC drama Scandal, a Shonda Rhimes series in which she plays Olivia Pope, a crisis management expert to politicians and power brokers in Washington DC, and also she is a producer.
