One of the forerunners of rap music in Nigeria, Babatunde Adewale, popularly called by his stage name Modenine, announced the passing of his father on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 via his Facebook page.
He posted a photo of his dad and wrote ‘R.I.P Dad’. During a brief chat with the Pulse, the rapper simply said “it is well” concerning the loss of his father. The ‘Nigerian girls’ rapper has been in low spirits since the sad incident. Meanwhile, fans of the legendary rapper took to his timeline to send their condolences.
