23-year-old Nigerian pop star, Kiss Daniel who announced that he has left G-Worldwide Entertainment and launched his own label, has given reasons for his decision.
Popular Nigerian singer, Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel, widely known as Kiss Daniel, who best known for his chart-topping single “Woju”, on Monday, announced his exit from his record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment which is owned by Emperor Geezy.
Kiss Daniel, who has been signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment for four years, made the revelation the news of his departure from the record label via Twitter while responding to well-wishers on Monday.
While speaking in a phone conversation with TheCable Lifestyle, Daniel’s manager, Tumi confirmed the development saying that, “this is the time for him to leave”.
When asked what’s next on the cards for the artiste, Tumi said: “Expect more music and more activities from Kiss Daniel.”
Kiss Daniel also announced the launch of his record label, Fly Boy Inc, shortly after his departure from G-Worldwide Entertainment.
“He has the Fly Boy Inc. and this arrangement is on that platform,” Tumi said, but when asked if Daniel has signed any artiste, he said, “not yet”.
The development is coming a few hours after the just concluded AFRIMA awards in which Kiss Daniel did not win any award despite being nominated. The singer has not won an award this year, his last being the Headies he picked up in 2016.
