Lanre was today arraigned before an Ogba Magistrate court on a three count charge offence bordering on breach of public peace, assault and causing grievous bodily harm on his wife.
Police prosecutor, Inspector N. Peter said to the court that Mr. Gentry incessantly beat up Mercy Aigbe ,his wife, and in the last and recent assault, hit her on the nose, which resulted to bleeding.
The police prosecutor said the offence committed by Gentry was contrary to and punishable under sections 157 (f), 168 (a) and 171 of the Criminal Law No II, Vol. 44 Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.

Lanre pleaded not guilty to these charges.The magistrate in charge , Mrs O. Aje-Afunwa granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in the like sum. Aje-Afunwa said that both sureties must show proof of tax payment and own a verifiable house in Lagos with title documents.
Things are just getting too messy.We are hoping that very soon, this case between Lanre and Mercy would be settled.
