A 22-years-old suspected robber identified as Moses Akpan has been apprehended by the Lagos state Police command.
He was said to have attacked some of the residents of Oniru, in the Lekki area of the state and made away with their valuables along Oniru Market road around 2pm.
The Operatives of the Maroko division trailed Akpan to his residence and arrested him. During interrogation, Akpan confessed that he uses toy gun to rob his victims of their possession.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos, who confirmed the incident, said the case is under investigation and the suspect will be charged to court.
“The suspect has also confessed to the use of a toy gun for robbery.
“Operatives recovered the toy gun and a refrigerator from the suspect’s house,” the PPRO added
