American fans indeed know how best to show appreciation to their screen idols, and our own Mike Ezuruonye cannot deny this claim. At least, he was recently a beneficiary of the gesture.
Mike was recently said to have benefitted a cash gift of UD10,000 from one of his fans in America who was fascinated by the captivating role he played in a Nigerian movie titled, “King’s Desire.”
The movie was directed by Ugezu J. Ugezu and shot in Asaba, and featured Olu Jacobs, Ini Edo and Patience ozokwor amongst other stars.
A close associate of the fair-complexioned actor, whom he confided this in, said, the fan encountered Mike somewhere in America and consequently, decided to express his appreciation of the actor’s excellent interpretation of his role in that movie by deepen his hands into his pocket and giving away the huge sum of $10,000 to the Nollywood golden boy.
Eventually the cash gift came about the same time, the handsome actor was preparing for his traditional wedding ceremony and you can guess what! It served a lot of purposes.
Industry watchers however blamed there was need for Mike to let the Dollars go around, as they argued passionately that it was as a result a collective effort of the cast and crew of the production that gave him the edge to be a beneficiary of the gesture. But then, it’s another feather on Mike’s acting cap.
