Jacqueline | 8/20/2012 10:20:23 PMI know this doesn't directly anwser your question, but it cuts right to your especially part, and you may like this solution:Open the terminal and type:gconftool-2 -s /apps/metacity/general/num_workspaces 4 type int(you can switch the 4 to 2 or 12 or however many spaces you want)exit the terminal.Now You have 4 workspaces and no need to switch!Also.. you will probably want to go to the window picker (top center) and right click it. Then select preferences, and UNcheck Show Windows From All Workspaces so it wont get too cluttered up there.You can switch desktops with ctrl alt left and right or use the switcher up top. (should have showed up, if not you can add it to gnome panel)So that will get you multiple workspaces within UNR.
