Twitter, the popular online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called “tweets” has suspended the account of the Niger Delta Avengers, a notorious group known for their destruction of oil facilities in Niger Delta.

The group has been using the medium to display information about  any recent attack and so on.

The account when opened reads “This account has been suspended. Learn more about why Twitter suspends accounts, or return to your timeline.”
