The fight against Domestic Violence and Child Abuse is becoming a big issue in Nigeria and various stake holders are not taking things easy as they continue to employ various avenues by which they can get their message passed across.

Just some few days ago, Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) and with some members of staff of the Sun Newspaper, staged a one mile walk to enlighten people about domestic violence and how it affects the country at large.

Mr Eric Osagie, MD of the Sun Newspapers flagged off the walk from Golden Tulip hotel Amuwo Odofin, as he was joined by PMAN President Mr Pretty Okafor, Arinze Desmond, actress, Princess Chineke, Ejiro Okurame and Nkechi Emmanuel ( nurse Titi).

The event was not complete without the very vibrant singer, Ruggedman in participation along with legendary singer, Felix Duke. Social commentator, Dr. Joe Odumakin, was not left out of the walk.

Pretty, who led the PMAN team, noted that it is not just about setting up a proper structure for the Nigerian music industry, they are also about giving back to the community.
