EbonyLife Studios boss, Mo Abudu has denied sleeping with top politicians for money. She said; “I listen to my mum a lot and she is wise. She says, leave them, no one knows how water gets in the coconut so I would not waste my time thinking about what anyone said.”

“Those that know me know me very well and anyone saying trash doesn’t know me…people were calling me to find out if there is something serious happening and I’m like, you guys, I am very okay.”

“Yes, these rumours can be painful because of the young girls that look up to me, I don’t want the young girls that look up to me to think that this is what I have done and if they do I worry about that because how do you do the work we have done?”

“I’m getting busy here so let them keep getting busy with their cooked up stories.”

“We at Ebony life studios have over 30 international projects in development from Netflix to Will Smith’s company, to Sony and some not announced yet, incredible projects.”

“I receive calls every day, about how the western world works when they find someone doing magic, your information spreads and they want to work with you and that is our mission to be global not just Nigerian and African vision.”

The media mogul revealed this in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, stating further that she is still friends with her ex-husband.

She also said she doesn’t see a reason to paint one’s ex as a bad human while also pointing out that some relationships end on a bitter note but hers did not go that way.

“I don’t think that because you have decided to separate from your ex means that they were a bad human being, no. Tokunbo Abudu, I’ll say it till tomorrow, is a good father. He remains a good friend of mine.

“That’s the most important thing in our relationship and we have two children together. My children love their father and they love me, they don’t need to pick, they don’t need to say ‘is it mummy or daddy.

“When my son graduated, we were both there. When it was Temidayo’s wedding, we planned it together, we were both there. I’m not saying that some relationships can’t end badly and then there could be bitterness.

“But there wasn’t. There was no bitterness in our relationship. It didn’t work, it didn’t work, and that’s it. We are good friends.

Considering this statement from Mo Abudu, one would wonder why she opted out of her marriage. However, she went on to explain, stating that there is more to a relationship than just being friends.

“It didn’t work because there are other things that make up a relationship outside of just being friends. There were so many other things in the equation at the time.”
