The near scandal free life popular Yoruba comic actor, Adekola Tijani otherwise known as Golugo has maintained for some time now may have now been dented as gist exclusively reaching
Nigeriafilms.com from a bird in the know indicates so.
The actor had gone to Ibadan, Oyo State for the burial of a popular colleague in the Yoruba motion pictures, Muyiwa Ademola’s father held in August 2012, but Golugo got one the worst treatments he may never have envisaged.
According to eyewitnesses accounts calmly divulged to
Nigeriafilms.com, the street fight involving Golugo and an unknown vigilante members happened at about 2am on Friday, August 21, 2012 at Opeyemi Street, Mosfala Olaoye, Muslim, Ibadan, Oyo State.
On that fateful Friday night, Muyiwa gathered his friends in the industry for an ‘artistes’ nite’ party preceding the main burial on Saturday.
As we were told, trouble started when actress, Fathia Balogun got a slap from one of the vigilante guys for daring to challenge their authority in their territory.
Nigeriafilms.com learnt that Fathia had left the party venue to pick some of her guests who were detained at the entrance of the street. On her way, she was accosted by the vigilante guys who challenged her.
While trying to have a word with them about her personality in the Yoruba movie world as the popular Fathia Balogun, she got a slap on her face which made her return to her 'partying' colleagues to report her ordeal with the vigilante guys to them (her colleagues).
This was how Golugo and some of his colleagues got themselves with the vigilante boys in a free for all fight. Our source informed us that Golugo got badly beaten by the boys along with the others.

BJCHI | 10/26/2012 8:31:00 AMSo some ignorant thugs hit Fathia for talking to them and she went to get her male friends for back up? That is what she should have done. Why not call lawless stewpid thugs what they are. This is why chaos reigns in Nigeria. We accept nonsense of hitting people when it is not necessary.

Muyiwa Ademola Authentic, | 10/27/2012 5:36:36 PMAm Muyiwa Ademola, though I don't debunk this kind of news when it involves me because pple may feel one is claiming saint. But in this situation pls permit me to clear some issue. On the said night I have more than enough security personel on ground and having acquired permission from the neccesary authority the vigilantees were handled by policemen. ADEKOLA TIJANI did not fight not to talk of being hit,he was on satge as a compere.FATHIA BALOGUN too wasn't slapped but for real there was a little disagreement but was later settled. Thanks and God bless. Love you all.

Tusarkanta | 11/28/2012 2:21:12 PMThe fg insists the susibdy removal will be for the purpose of freeing up funds to invest in other aspects of the economy requiring attention and to provide certain basic amenities to the average Nigerian.I don't believe them. You would be wise not to either.I am yet to see any positive effect of the deregulation of diesel which was done a few years ago.The fg continues to raise the defence of cabals, blaming them for the need to remove the susibdy. The question then is, are the people comprising these cabals more powerful that the fg? Why can the fg not bring them back in line rather that allow itself to be held to ransom by a group of faceless people and organisations? Are we now paying the price of the incompetence of the govt?Even if the govt. does keep its promise and provides the amenities, what would be the point when at the end of the day, the average Nigerian would not be able to afford them?Jonah is looking more and more like a very big mistake.
