She left our shores several years ago for the United States of America, where she got married and also got trained as a certified nurse. Here in Nigeria then, she was at a point a beauty queen and later a celebrated actress,but she suddenly left all the fame for love and family in the US. She went quiet for a while doing her thing. When Regina was reigning, who was Genevieve?? the now highest Nollywood star. she has created a brand name. she is now a commodity. she is not capitalizing on it. her name is worth millions of dollars. although Regina was already a biology graduate from unilag. So going into a science related course eventhough its Nursing isn't far-fetched. she went from having a beautiful house in VGC and whatever she wanted to wiping butts and having patients yell at her . With her status in Nollywood, she could shoot a film for say $30,000, and with the high turnover rate in Nollywood, I can see her shooting 20-30 in a year. The movie industry in Nigeria is till very primitive and not as stressful, she could be making 20x the amount she would be making as a nurse and still have time for her family. She can always fly to the US every weekend or have her kids come stay with her in Lagos. My point: Very senseless move on her part.
