Nigeriafilms.com can authoritatively report that Emeka Rollas has emerged the new president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). The result was announced a moment ago and Emeka was declared winner of the keenly contested raced between him and Fiberesima.
Yesterday, it was first reported that Fiberesima won the election but it was not the official announcement from the guild's electoral body. This was after different agents of Fiberesima had given her initial results from the states the elections were conducted. The result was due to have been announced by 1pm today but it delayed until recently.
Already, the camp of Emeka Rollas are in joyous mood. Since Segun Arinze resigned as the guild's president in April, there has not been a leader for the guild. Emeka was a secretary in the administration of Segun Arinze.
