Obiang who was once married to the 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' host, Frank Edoho said, "Just to dare to argue with your husband is like a challenge in your home. The woman is challenging the man and tempers flay and then you snap, then there is a slap. He says 'I am sorry it is a mistake' then says 'sorry I won't do it again,' then he does it again, again and again.
Narrating a particular incident, Hadiza, estranged wife of musician Zaki Adzay, said, "he slapped me on the face so (and said) 'get up you must abort this pregnancy today. Now that I am married to you, you want to hook me with pregnancy because I am a celebrity.' Then there was a wardrobe in our room so I put my tummy in there and then he continued beating me. He had some folic acid in his hand and said I should swallow it and abort the pregnancy. When he gave me I said he should allow me take water, thank God the door was open so I ran away."

There is no justification for any man to physically attack his wife or any woman for that matter..no matter how nasty she gets there is always an alternative,one of those is to simply walk away. I must also say that, domestic violence is not just against women alone. There are some women out there that are more brutal than their male partners, so being a woman does not mean that i have to be biased in my judgement. First 3 months of my pregnancy,my gp gave me a prescription for folic acid which is also given to every woman in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
Madam,please be careful with what you say ooo,I am sure even in Nigeria it is also recommended to give pregnant women folic acid.
Everyone has got their own shortcoming but at least,there is a limit to which one should seek sympathy not at the extreme detriment of the other party involved,state your case honestly and see how God would raise people to defend you. Reply this thread

Please what makes us all "shallow " and you more profound? Cos we dared to air our view on folic acid? Unless you are an actuall physician and can tell us otherwise, folic acid is a prenatal vitamin and I don't think any amount would be able to hurt a baby...except she was mistaken..it's also scary to have a bunch of it forced down your throat I get it but that dosnt make us all shallow please common.

it is like paracetamol,when you take a bunch of it,it can cause serious and damage to your system,such as folic acid,too much of everything is bad all the same.it can be very harmful to the baby.so she knows what she is talking about,when a medecine is recommended doe not mean a bunch of it is ok
