We were clapping because her movie just won a Nafca award. That was the ceremony held in North Carolina and that's me at the far left, next to the oyinbo lol.
Her strap kept falling off because it wasn't sewn properly. She said it was a last minute thing and she left with about 2 or 3 awards that night.
