Patience and Jonathan
SaharaReporters has claimed that sources close to the president, Goodluck Jonathan disclosed to some of his aides that his wife, Dame Patience is still alive after the president was reported to have abruptly left a state luncheon organised for him in Botswana. He was reported to have ended his 3-day working visit to Malawi and Botswana and headed to Abuja. The report claimed that there were speculations that Patience's health may have taken a dire turn at the German hospital she was reportedly taken to. It was first reported that the first lady was receiving treatment in German for food poisoning while some speculated that she may have gone for surgery. SR reportedly quoted a source to have told them that, "before he (President Jonathan) went into his residence today, the president told some of his senior aides that his wife is still alive." SR also claimed that calls and text messages sent to Jonathan's spokesman, Reuben Abati, were not answered. Moments ago, there were reports that the president had order a change of security details around his wife in Germany. It is a week now that Patience reportedly left Abuja. There have been controversies surrounding her absence in Abuja for some time now. The insides are eaten by the chicken population, the head is preserved, the feet are used for crafting and Cassie tans the hides for use. And we ate every eatable part of the rabbit!Over the years I have gotten used to the idea to kill for food, but have always been a bit squeamish. Reading great books like Barbara Kingsolver's Animal, Vegetable, Mineral: A Year of Food Life, Novella Carpenter's Farm City and watching great movies like Food Inc., I have become more used to the idea of seeing the face of what I eat. Last night I expeirenced first hand killing and eating an animal (beside killing and eating a fish last year milestone). I was sad, but also know that this animal had a great life. We gave her thanks, had nice music on in the background and she died swiftly. The fried rabbit was delicious and the kids all appreciated the expeirence. Thanks Cassie!!!!! Reply this thread
