maame | 8/5/2012 11:31:44 AMwhen its comes to fibroids,i have had my own share of it,i have been to Europe 3 times in less than 2 years,all for fibroids operations.the last one i did was in november after i lost my 5 months old son in my womb because there was a fibroid and the baby couldn.t grow freely and therefore died.Now some tips for all the women expecially all the yound girls out there:if you are not ready to have kids,use a condom,abortion is completely out of the questions because that is one of the major things that triggers the fibroids,second thing is having kids early helps alot to prevent fibroids,thats for all the women out there busy chasing careers and are therefore not ready to have kids yet,change your minds.third thing is if you have fibroids,avoid meat completely,thats one secret the doctors are not telling.Research have shown that there is something in meat that makes these fibroids grow like c***y.even if you dont have fibroids but you also dont have kids,but wish to have someday please,please avoid any thing cooked with meat whether in soups or stew ones it has meat in it,avoid it.stick to fish and chicken but cow meat is no no no.fibroid has caused me alot of euros and time.as for the doctors they are happy to operate you of fibroids cos they make their money and they really dont tell how to prevent it,i spent alot of time searching for answers and this is what i found,since november last year i have not tasted meat and am free from fibroid,so here is a little tip for my sisters out there,prevention they say is better than cure. There are no herbs anywere to dissolve fibroid. i have interacted with so many women wit fibroid in Nigeria, & we tell u, all those herbal dissolvers are fake. I have used many herbs including d big names like YEM KEM -V expensive yet dont work they trigger worse symptoms. For ovarian cysts, the doc will usually do an internal ultrasound the ultrasound wand is put in your v****a. It's easier to see small things that way. But for something large, then the doc will do an external ultrasound (on your belly) like they do for pregnant women. For ovarian cysts, there are 3 things possible to do:1) nothing wait and see if it goes away on its own2) birth control pills see if they make it go away3) surgery to remove the cystSometimes cysts interfere with pregnancy, sometimes not. Depends on the type of cyst. Sometimes when removing the cyst, the ovary must be removed too. But you can be fertile with just one ovary.For uterine fibroids, there are several possibilities. They will never go away on their own.1) uterine artery embolization (UAE) a relatively new procedure to non-surgically shrink the fibroid so it goes away, via blocking the artery supplying it with blood.2) surgery to remove the fibroid only called myomectomy3) hysterectomyWith UAE, you can remain fertile. With hysterectomy, you won't be fertile anymore. And having a fibroid can interfere with carrying pregnancy.References : Reply this thread
