Shut up ignorant Lydia Forson And Go Back to Acting School ”Attractive Ayinde
Story by Mustapha Ayinde Inusah/NigeriaFilms.com

Sometimes I hate to see some so called local celebrities like Lydia Forson who can’t even afford to employ a P.R.O or a Manager to help their stranded career but rather insult the media.

I read an article with headline; “Actress Lydia Forson Demands Apology From Online Media”.The article was written by one of the leading news-papers in Ghana called News-One. In the article, Lydia Forson tried to ignorantly insult one Adeyemi, a writer for Ghanaweb by calling him names like a lazy journalist.

I recollect some years back when this same Lydia insulted some of her Facebook and Twitter pals together with me the writer of this story(Mustapha Ayinde Inusah) AKA:Attractive Ayinde. This tells the kind of actress Lydia Forson is.

Not wanting to go much into details of the issue, I will like to rather ask Lydia Forson to stop wasting her time on insulting the press and fans but rather go back to acting school and learn how to build her image, since she doesn’t even have any image presence as she thinks and can’t make into the list of top five popular/Best actresses Ghana has ever had.

If readers will remember, just some few days ago, another female celebrity by name Afia Schwarzenegger, insulted and nearly went physical on a Ghana Super Stars reporter over a simple question the latter asked her.

The questions we’re asking are; why are our female celebrities becoming sentimental, temperamental and verbally insultive at the press lately instead of being friendly? We need our celebrities and they need us as well.

This kind of situation cannot foster cordiality between the press and our celebrities and we at NigeriaFilms.Com are becoming concerned.

Folks, what do you think is the problem? Is it the press at fault or it is the celebrities who are being arrogant and egotistic because of their celebrity status? A word to a wise

Then the press should stop writing destructive reports about celebrities.
If you say you need them just as they need you, then stop character assasination.

Some of the reports you write about these celebrities affects them negatively.
They are humans, you know.
You journalist should put yourselves in their shoes.
Stop ruining their happiness.

People like Jim Iyke, MJ, Uche Jumbo etc have severally complained about the negative effects of media reports on their private life.

They signed up for it,once u say ur a celeb and a public figure then get ready for character assasination and all other scandals. How can u be a celeb and expect everything abt u in the limelight to be positive then u are no celeb. How many press do u want to tell, there are over hundres of media houses in Nigeria and if 1 writes abt u nd ur able to watever do dat one abge will that stop the rest frm wrting wat dey want too.How can u call urslef a celeb and expect sweet things abt u i tell u ur career will never move on.MJ neg press esp after her wedding where she says she wont act anymore am sure it was d number of scripts coming in dat changed her mind.Scandals helps career biko. There are many of these so called celebs dat the same press made dem look like millionaires in front of the public e.g dey buy cars of 1milla nd d press point it as 20 million but then they wont refute the claim o dey were enjoying it but when it comes to other neg stories dey are quick to react mtcheew.Once ur a star u have no privacy anymore,if u cnt handle it GTFO,sit in ur hse nobody will write story abt u.Check tonto dike nd her stunts now tonto dike is one of d worst actresses in nollywood but who cares her face can sell movies.

Hahahaha…Nnem oma, ur comments atogbuolam oooo! But I tink say if CELEBS cannot fight d press 4 projecting dem b4 d public above their competence, then dey shld also keep MUM when they are reduced to nothing. Dey swore to d oath of public life d very moment dey ventured into their career, they shld as well purchase 2nd & 3rd skin in order not to be affected by any negative talks bcos there is no way they can escape it. Though d press & d celebs are responsible 4 controversies bcos there is never a smoke witout fire on d side of d actors, while d press blow minor issues out of proportion in order to make sales.

Just cut that crap right there bro what are you ranting about? Let me ask you this question right here on my mind, when you wakeup in the morning don't you find means I mean any means as a way of survival and puting food on the table, do fine boy, buy some stuffs and all that? if your answer to these questions is yes. Then why won't jornalists also do thesame thing to fend for themslf and their family naeh? Afterall they are doing their job I mean it is their job. Any jornalist that fail to write stories be it false or fabricated should not be called one and you should also know that all those stories written about the so called celebrities are base on one information or the other as a crux. I mean, the source of any story is just like a main pillar that has other minor ones as a support, as in there must be fire in a particular place before the smoke is seen elsewhere. So get it right those stories heard from media are just like fillings on a foundation and no matter how highly scandalous and damaging the story may be somebody still earns the kudos.
PRESS AND STARS
Chyke | 7/19/2012 6:24:45 AM |
The press are so destructive in their writings, they are the cause of so many failed marriages in showbiz toady. Always peeping into the private lives of our ladies. Their headlines are always different from their stories. Any1 saying those journalists are right must be 1 of them. All the same, the stars must try and endure, see them as challenges that comes with the job of fame. Just that we have our different hearts, some of can endure and some can't endure and this Lydia is one of those that cant endure. I know she is not all that good in acting but she is trying. The press should please help the stars especially the females cos the males can move on while the females tries so hard cos if affects them most. This is Africa and society demands that we get good images not tarnished ones.

Once these celebrisheit start doing something worth while for society like our QUEEN OF HEARTS OMOTOLA, then journalist go write about it. Simple!

How do u want celebrities to b ur friend when all u so called journalists are only interested in killing and destroying another person's happiness, image and character. Its very very unfair, most of the journalists need to go back to school of journalism and learn something positive.Nobody will ever be happy when another man is lying against him or her, or accusing him or her of what he doesn't know about, lets be frank its very painful. For someone in dis forum whose name i cant get meaning out of it, claiming that making money or putting food on his table is by writing falsely about another fellow, or making ur fortune at the expense of another man's life, joy and career, guy tell yourself the truth. If u think that is the only way to put food on ur table, ur deceiving yourself, which is the worst thing that will ever happen to a man. For ur information whatever u sow that u shall reap, remember u will be measured as u measure others. Journalists Please write only the truth about the celebrities, no sentimantal attachment.

Ayinde! Ayinde! Ayinde!
Emeka - London | 7/19/2012 7:41:51 AM
Ayinde, how many times did I call you? Three times, for good reasons:

1. Read your title again. You seriously demand that Lydia Forson, an acclaimed AMAA winning actress, should hurry back to acting school? Please, don't make me laugh. I think it's you that should go back to school to begin to learn how to show respect to people like Lydia Forson.

2.Ayinde, journalists are always quick to refer to celebrities as role models. Fair enough. But don't forget that the public also expect journalists to be role models in disseminating the truth. My question is: are journalists good role models in this regard, or is this a case of a pot calling a kettle black?

3. Now, to the main issue: Your fellow journalist called Adeyemi of Ghanaweb told some lies about Lydia Forson. Then, Forson proceeded to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Adeyemi lied. She proved that Adeyemi copied his story from other social networks, spiced it up with lies, and put that up for the public in Ghanaweb.
I have two questions: First, what is wrong with Lydia Forson calling Adeyemi a LAZY JOURNALIST, if Adeyemi has not learnt, as a journalist, that he should cross-check his facts before publicizing his stories? Second, what is wrong with Lydia Forson asking Adeyemi to apologize to users of Ghanaweb for feeding them lies about herself?

Finally,Ayinde, permit me to ask you this private question: When was kissing outlawed in Ghana ? I ask this question because, to be honest, I found that part of the story rather puzzling. I couldn't understand why Lydia Forson should waste a minute of her precious time debunking whom she kissed and whom she did not.

Anyway, in my view, Lydia Forson remains one of the most beautiful, talented, and outspoken actresses that Ghana has produced. No amount of jealousy from people like Ayinde will change that.

So, Lydia Forson, carry go jor.

Lydia forson is a great actress anyday, anytime. She delivers better than jackie appiah. She might not be popular but her hard works on the few movies she has acted was great. This same lydia has an amaa award oh. If you have problem with her character better but not her acting skills

cheap celebrities about
kwami | 7/19/2012 12:37:52 PM
The simple truth is this is the 'net' and people will troll & talk a lot of trash, you know it and I know it too. We all do, sometimes, have 'arguments' online. If being in the Media is having serious effect on people , then they need to seriously reconsider their careeer. Fame don't come easy , if you bulls**t or slept your way into it , without researching the pros and cons of it , you deal with the consequences. You should have understood by now what it takes to be a celebrity and stop the s****d whinning or quit for your own sanity because the higher you go the worst you will read about yourself.. Most Ghana true celebrities Nadia, Nana , Kofi, Yvonnes have all been in the media and could not care less what people say, but continued to exhale in their career. Stop being a puppet , you want to be recognised by millions of people , yet you can't handle criticism. What were you expecting ... everyone to love you? .. pay the price and stop moaning......smh!!!!!

our celeb need Reality check
Kelebe | 7/19/2012 1:10:45 PM
Its not a Nigeria nor Ghananian thing, celebs are hated all over the world, well most of them. Its a price u have to pay for being famous, some people have genuine reasons, others just hate for no reason at all. in the US? there's loads of blogs dedicated to criticising celebs. Hell, even some magazines and tabloids are dedicated to that same task. In contrary, most of our mags (from Ovation down to Hints) exist solely to glorify celebs and the idle rich.
besides, we should be happy we've got it so good in naija. we don't usually have stalkers, anonymous callers and freakos/sickos after our celebs! When last did anyone get arrested for stalking 2face?
They need to take a chill pill , get professional help on how to deal with the public / media instead of fighting faceless people or media dirty on social websites. They end up exposing themselves to more criticism , media ridicule and insults .

Fame and hate
Ibrahim Abdul | 7/19/2012 2:05:11 PM
Nobody hate them it just that they don't have secret, so knowing the positive and negative side of their lives make one to hate them. This is applicable to anyone as long as you get to know the person better, there must be something you will dislike about that person.

My point is that THIS IS NOT PECULIAR TO CELEBBRITIES ALONE
