On July 16, 2012, top Juju musician cum gospel artiste and Evangelist, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi was treated to a posh 70th birthday celebration in London, England. The event took at the Sanctuary of Praise Centre, London.
Among the guests at the ceremony were the UK Deputy High Commissioner, Ambassador Oluwatoyin Kayode Lawal; Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo of KICC; Former Miss Nigeria, Mrs Julie Coker; CANUK Chairman, Mr Bimbo Afolayan; Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Kate Anolue; The Mayor of Brent, Councillor Michael Adeyeye; and many others.
Few weeks ago, the Juju maestro had his 70th birthday celebration in Lagos, which had political and society's heavyweights in attendance. Also, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi performed on stage together with his 'insinuated' rival, King Sunny Ade (KSA) in Lagos.

What happened is that he actually turned 70 sometime ago but this church in London (CLIWOM) only organised the celebration this time. It is not that Obey is manipulating his date of birth
