Akorfa Asiedu, a renowned actress seems to be gradually staging a comeback into the movie industry.

The versatile actress is one of the early faces of the African Movie industry but has been absent for some time now.

In explaining why that was the case, Akorfa had this to say; “when I get good scripts, I sure will be in front of the cameras again.

I don’t take movies for the money; the stories must mean something to me as a professional actress.

I agree that s*x sells today but some n*dity and scenes in some movies are unnecessary. Some s*x scenes won’t change anything in the movies if they are deleted.

We should ask ourselves if that is what we want to project in making the industry a success. Most producers today used to be marketers who invest their monies where they think they can reap more,”

The ‘I Sing Of A Well’ producer said, “Although actors must be able to detach themselves from the emotions of their characters, they should act instead of recite their lines.”

You are right woman, enough of this ponography in movies xpecially Ghollywood. What msg are they passing to the younger generations? It s really sad that the movie industry cant contribute to the future of Nigeria teens and kids. I keep sayin they introduce another genre of acting for young pple like 'high school movies and some kids shows'
