As part of the on going Supermom reality TV show, one of the nation's artiste, Olumide Adegbulu popularly called Olu Maintain has revealed how he sold his mum expensive jewelries to set up a musical studio.
For singer Olu Maintain, growing up wasn’t that hard, as he came from a middle class home and his mother was a civil servant. But his parents’ disinterest and denial in his chosen career made him sell his mother’s jewelry. "I sold my mom’s gold set to buy studio equipment.’
In relation to this, his mother said, "I recognized with the benefit of hindsight, the fact he did it was because of his passion and love for music. Unlike other mothers that would have beaten the daylight out of the child, but I had no choice but to support his career with the little I had."

Guadalupe | 8/20/2012 11:23:14 AMI remember way back in the semmur of 2009 my friend and I were playing video games when he started telling me about this book called Skeleton Creek. Be said it was really good and that I should read it. I wasn't really paying attention (fighting alien zombies is really distracting) and I told him I would buy it and read it. So over the course of the semmur he kept pestering me. Have you read it yet? Have you read it yet? It was driving me nuts! But I kept putting it off. I honestly wasn't interested in horror back then. Finally one day my friend came up to me and literally shoved the book into my hands. Looking back I'm really glad he did. I was so inspired just by the way it grabbed you put you right into the characters shoes that i got me writing too! Thanks for being so awesome!
