The city of Maiduguri is shocked by series of coordinated bomb attacks
Reports reaching us from Maiduguri, Borno state capital say there were series of bomb attacks in the city, Friday morning.
One of the attacks involved a suicide bomber who forced his way into the headquarters of the Nigerian police force before detonating his bomb laden vehicle.
Casualty figures are yet to be ascertained.
Earlier in the day, the commander of the Joint Task force (JTF), Victor Ebhaleme, confirmed that another suspected suicide bomber was killed by the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) he was trying to plant Gidan Dambe area of the city at about 6:00am.
Mr. Ebhaleme said said that when his men arrived the Gidan Dambe scene, “they found a man we believe to be a member of Boko Haram, dismembered by the explosion.”
He added that preliminary investigation has shown that he was killed when he was trying to plant the device.
Maiduguri residents also informed PREMIUM TIMES that another IED planted by the gate of Ramat Polytechnic exploded, although no one was affected by the explosion there.

Well,as for me,dialogue is NEVER an ideal idea for this barbarians. Let the Federal government order a clamp down on all of them with their sponsors,so that we can have a little peace of mind in this country. Dialoguing with Boko Haram will SURELY lead to the proliferation of militia/radicalists groups in Nigeria. Mr. Jonathan should IMMEDIATELY ORDER a clamp down on Boko Haram & not dialogue with them if truely he loves this country, Nigeria.

This is becoming too rampered, lt has now become a daily occurances in Nigeria. This religious fundamentalists now known as the dreaded sect (Boko Haram).
Whosoever is persuading this uncivilized animal in human skin, should be bold enough to come out with his graviences, instead of using these baboons indisguise. Now, the federal should not hesistate to tell the military to clamp down on these buffoons.
Is time to give an eye for an eye, "NO DIALOGUE" anymore, because that's what they want. A enough of dialogue talk.
