On May 26, 2012, Funke Akindele married her husband Almaroof Kehinde at The Haven Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
Genevieve Nnaji, Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot, Ireti Osayemi, Ayo Makun, Ali Baba, Odunlade Adekola, Sikiratu Sindodo and many others all came out to support Funke Akindele after the initial attack from a section of the media over some controversial issues sorrounding her hubby, Almaroof.

Yep... It looked like everyone had fun. I love Genny's chic outfit especially the white pants. Tiwa's dress was on point but what is up with her voice? D@ng...I thought she had a nice voice before but I guess it's the handwork of auto tune. Her voice and song in this video was an epic fail! The first songstress scared the crap out of me with her singing too (was too loud). Overall, I wish the pair a blissful matrimony.
