It was a dark day for the country this afternoon, Sunday, June 3 as about 153 Abuja-Lagos bound passengers on Dana Airline crashed in Lagos just few metres away from landing. The crash occurred in Agege area of Lagos State. A retired senior police officer, son of former Chief of General Staff, NNPC top shot among others were involved in the air crash. the ill-fated flight has been under repairs for several weeks and the airline's station manager protested its use but the Indian mgt insisted it should fly. The German stations are reporting that the plane which just crashed should never have taken off becos of its write off state and that its a wonder the plane even made it to lagos!. I pray for their children and all other children whose parents were affected by this crash! So sad! I can't even begin to imagine the last thots that came to their minds!
