I am from a very decent Christian home and out of childishness and ignorance about muslims , I married a single muslim in Ikoyi registry because I thouht Ithe two of us were "deeply in love", just like this phoolish Funke here !
Against strong oppositions from my family , my church and my friends, I went blindly into a hell on earth marriage !
Then after just 3 yearsand 2 kids , the man made a lot of money and trouble started big time for our marriage .
It was problems one woman after another ! They all wanted to marry him and he was very willing to date them and to flaunt them.
Then he told me that he was planning to marry one of these girls but she will live outside our home. He did that and then the next year , he married the daughter of a very prominent muslim family in Ibadan and she ,her family and my husband , despite my refusal , insisted that he must bring her into our big house , because there was enough room for many wives there!.
When I protested , his family the girl's family and their friends started laughing at me , calling me "selfish and wicked woman , who doesn't want to share her husband!"
My husband , his family and his girlfriends made it very clear to me that " this is islam and our life is all about polygamy, take it or leave it!. You can get lost "
Of course I left because I WAS SUBJECTED TO A LOT OF HARASSMENT, RIDICULE AND PUNISHMENT BY THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE!
They made my life hell and almost took my two chil;dren away from me ; but thank God that I escaped with my children to the UK before they could do that!
